Do you have an eye for quality? Do you enjoy meeting new people and count organization skills among your strengths? Is giving back to your community important to you? Then our Habitat ReStore Volunteer Salvage Appraiser opportunity is for you!

Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is currently recruiting volunteers for this role. A Habitat ReStore is a retail store concept that sells new and gently used donated home furnishings and renovation materials at 50-80% off the original retail price. ReStore proceeds support Habitat’s mission of helping local families break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future through affordable homeownership.

To stock our Habitat ReStores we rely heavily on generous product donations from a wide range of donors across the GTA. Our Habitat ReStore Volunteer Salvage Appraisers travel throughout the GTA to measure, photograph and assess furnishings such as kitchens, bathrooms, doors, etc. being donated.
