Title:  Marketplace Event Assistant

Date and Time:                 May 16-18, 2017

Shifts Available:               9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

                                         2:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Location:                          Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building


What you need to know:

Event Assistant at the Canadian International Real Estate Marketplace where you will be a representative of Habitat for Humanity GTA at a designated booth. The objective will be to engage with the attendees who approach our booth and happily inform them about Habitat as an organization.

Important:  You will be required to be available for event training one to two weeks prior to May 16, 2017 at the Toronto office (155 Bermondsey Road, Toronto). The date and time for the training is to be determined however, it will be between Monday to Friday, 9:00-4:00pm for a couple hours. 



Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Good general knowledge about Habitat for Humanity GTA and services we offer.   All volunteers will be connected with a Habitat staff person prior to volunteering at this event to ensure he/she has the knowledge and is set up for success for the event.




  • This is Canada’s first-ever international property investment trade show. Both international and domestic Real Estate focused Exhibitors will have booths at the event.
  • Building presentation and engagement skills
  • Lunch will be provided for the early shift. Dinner will be provided for the evening shift.
  • T-shirts will be provided.   Once your shift has been confirmed, please provide your t-shirt size and any dietary restrictions to
  • Parking will be reimbursed for the duration of your shift.
