We Need You! Join Habitat GTA’s Board

Are you looking for your next non-profit board challenge? Do you thrive in entrepreneurial organizations? Do you see yourself as a changemaker addressing some of the most pressing issues facing our society? Are you concerned about the impact housing unaffordability is having on all aspects of our communities? Do you have your own story of how the stability and financial independence of homeownership has created possibilities for your family? Are you comfortable asking for money for causes you care about?

If yes to all of the above, Habitat for Humanity GTA is looking for you for our Board of Directors or our Board’s Fundraising Cabinet.

At a time when the housing crisis seems overwhelming, we are making homeownership affordable and possible for working families here in the GTA. We have the land and partnerships to grow exponentially in this next decade– but it will take more innovation, more fundraising, more government collaboration, and more thinking big than ever before.

We have a strong passionate board of directors and one of the strongest affordable housing leadership teams in the country.  Now we need you.

We are specifically seeking applications from established leaders and community philanthropists with experience in fundraising campaigns or a willingness to learn – and strong networks in one or more of the areas where we build (Brampton, Caledon, Toronto, Durham Region, and York Region).
