Our first ever build in Caledon is making great progress. We are working on fire taping, and building stair wells for the last 6 units at Kennedy Build!

We are working on finishing touches for the first block of homes! 4 Habitat partner families will be home for the holidays this month!
November 25, 2017
The roof is now on at Kennedy Rd and they are currently working on shingling the roof. Windows & doors will be going on shortly!
October 27, 2017
We are working on finishing touches on the last two homes of the first block. Trades are framing the second block of homes (6 units), and the second floor walls will be going up. Volunteers are working on putting styrofoam on the outside of the building. It's a busy time as the roof will go on shortly too!
September 22, 2017
We're starting to pour foundation walls of the second block of homes at Kennedy Rd! We've received kitchens for a few of the units - install will take place next week. We're also working on the trim and installing doors.

We're finishing up drywall on the first four units. Underground servicing will be taking place next week. We'll also be digging the hole for the second block of homes (6 units) in September!

The Habitat GTA team has been busy with framing. Windows are now installed and we are currently working on plumbing, electrical, and heating inside on the first block of homes.

The construction crew has now completely framed the first four units. The roof is now on, with plans for shingles and windows to go on shortly.
April 6, 2017
We have started framing on our Kennedy Rd build, and the floors will be going in shortly. Concrete will be poured for the basement floor and garage as well!
