Right at Home Realty understands what a safe, decent, and affordable home means to families. Since 2008, their contributions have helped 5 working, low-income families become Habitat homeowners.
Canada’s largest independently owned real estate brokerage, Right at Home Realty empowers their realtors to give back to Habitat for Humanity affiliates in innovative ways. By instituting a simple process for donations, they make it easy for their 3,700 Realtors to contribute to Habitat with each transaction.
The generosity of Right at Home Realty changes lives of families like the Abarca-Samaniego’s.
Home life was far from okay for the Abarca-Samaniego’s. After immigrating to Canada in 2005, their growing family of six was living in a crowded two-bedroom apartment. As their children grew older, their apartment did not have enough space for them to play, do their homework, or raise the two newest members of their family, a baby boy and girl. But affording a home of adequate size was out of reach for their family.
“Our company began in 2004 and from the beginning, we strongly believed that it was important to give back to the community. Habitat for Humanity provides Realtors a way to get involved not only financially, but also in real-world builds. Thanks to Right at Home Realty, the Abarca-Samaniego’s now live in a decent, affordable home on Pinery Trail in Scarborough. Their new Habitat home that they own, suits the needs of their growing family.
