13 years of giving back with TD Bank

TD Bank’s (TD) commitment to promoting diversity in our city has come across loud and clear through their leadership in our annual Pride Build event. They were the founding sponsor at our first Pride Build in 2014, and have been our presenting sponsor ever since. Their support has helped transform Pride Build into Toronto’s premier Pride event promoting volunteerism, and engaging members, friends and supporters of the LGBTA community in building homes and brighter futures for lower income families.

TD’s generous support of Habitat GTA dates back to 2004. Over the past 13 years, TD has given back in many ways to help working, low-income families achieve their dream of owning an affordable home. From sponsoring families, to giving back with their time, to being a key contributor towards our annual Pride Build event, TD’s dedication has been instrumental in allowing families to achieve their dream of having a safe, decent and affordable place to call home. Since 2004, TD has sponsored 13 partner families and their employees have volunteered over 1,700 hours on our build sites.

Habitat GTA is privileged to have such a longtime supporter contributing in so many ways. We look forward to continue to work together to provide more families with affordable home ownership in the midst of the GTA’s affordable housing shortage.
