Habitat for Humanity Homeownership: Opportunities Await Brampton Families
Townhome Units Available for Habitat Homeownership
TORONTO, December 9, 2021 – Habitat for Humanity GTA is looking for families who want to become Habitat homeowners at their newest community at 25 William St. in Brampton. This is an extraordinary opportunity for families facing challenges like unaffordable rent and/or difficult living conditions. The community is located in downtown Brampton and will feature beautiful, spacious three- and four-bedroom condo townhomes ideal for raising families.
The benefits of becoming a Habitat Homeowner include:
“With real estate prices constantly going up, working families are finding it harder to own a home and get some stability in their lives,” said Seema Sarda, Senior Manager of Outreach and Homeownership for Habitat for Humanity GTA. “These are beautiful, brand-new homes near great amenities that are completely affordable for many working families.”
Special consideration is given to families living in unsafe, unhealthy, inadequate housing or facing unaffordable rent. Applicants must also have a willingness to partner with Habitat GTA and complete volunteer hours. In order to apply to be a Habitat Homeowner, applicants must meet the following criteria:
